This stem mounted air scoop directs the vertical column of air from the steering head smoothly over the tank providing an unmatched cooling affect in warmer riding temperatures. Not compatible with Gen 1, 08-09 model year Concours/GTR 1400's due to the tank storage compartment.

The Air scoop arrived. Fit and finish look perfect.
Unfortunately, my left bar has a perch attached to it that is used for mounting my GPS. That perch is in the way and prevented me from installing the scoop.
My thought is to trim away a bit of the scoop to allow clearance for the perch, but I haven't done the surgery yet. Should be EZ to do.
Looking forward to finishing the install.
It doesn't fit my 2012 kawasaki concours abs
I have 2 inch raised pulled back risers on my bike from Advanced Sport Touring. When I went to install this scoop it does not fit because of the pull back risers. Wish I knew that prior to purchasing this item. Just like the disclaimer message that stated it doesn't fit on Gen 1 C14's, there should also be one about not fitting if you have pull back risers.
